Hello backers!
Thanks to all of you, we are very close to our goal! Thank you so very much! We have four days to go, and we are working hard to bring as much support in as we can over these final days!
Yesterday I posted a stretch goal on the Kickstarter page to give us an aim of $5,000 to reach for. Our initial goal of $3,500 is a minimum needed to cover a portion of our production costs. If we can bring in just a little more, and meet our stretch goal, that will help insure we get a really good location for this project and create a better film. This is important because the whole story takes place in one location – and the location is a character in itself. Very much in the same way The Overlook was an important character in The Shining, and the Bates Motel was in Psycho. Location is paramount in The Recursion Theorem.
As we approach the end of this campaign, I would appreciate any last efforts you can make in reaching out to others. I know some people have been meaning to pledge and it just gets pushed to the side in their busy days and forgotten. These last few days serve as a good opportunity to remind others about this project before the fundraising window expires. If you can reach out on your social media accounts, or through personal emails, as often as you can over these next few days, that will be a big help.
This is also a good time to review the rewards section and contribution levels, and see if the next step up from your current pledge is a move you are interested in making. Especially if you are in the $1, $5, or $10 range. But, we really do appreciate any and all support!
Thank you so much for partnering with us on this adventure, and we look forward to reaching our Kickstarter goals in the next 4 days with you!
